“I began my love for this business right after high school graduation. As a part time job, I started modeling for a local bridal shop. Continuing with this path, I started working part time in the bridal salon. This is where I developed a love of weddings and a passion for working with brides and their wedding party."
"After marrying, I continued to work until I had children. When a friend of mine decided to sell her bridal business I knew, without a doubt in my mind, that this was my calling! That was over 33 years ago!! I love this business as much as I did when I was just 19. When, and if, I ever retire I know the passion and commitment will continue in the hands of my daughter, Kelsey. I pride myself with having sisters, a sister-in-law, as well as a life-long friend working by my side each day. We truly are a family business, and for that I am grateful!”
Favorite Foods: Pizza and Pasta
Favorite Hobbies: I enjoy watching movies, reading, and travel planning.
What I like to do in my free time: I love to spend my free time with my family, especially my grandchildren. I love to travel, and I am an avid cruiser.
Favorite part of owning the business: I love getting to know our brides on a personal level during the whole process and then getting to see their faces light up when they find “the one”

"Throughout college I never expected myself to be working in the store. I had other plans. I wanted to be a teacher, then changed my major to Financial Services with a Business Degree. Right out of college I got a job at a local Law Firm and thought my life was perfect. Little did I know then, but it ended up not being the job for me, calling my mom and saying I am coming to work at the shoppe. She responded with, “Well the only thing I need help with is sewing.” I took that as a challenge and quickly learned the ins and outs of alterations. Before I knew it my mom would be the one asking me the questions!"
"Sewing is niche that not all people have. I always tell people, “you either have it, or you don’t.” Fortunately, I had it. Now after almost 10 years into being a seamstress, I couldn’t imagine my life any other way. It is such a rewarding feeling getting to finish a gown and know that it fits my customer like it should. I pride myself in the work that I do, the effort I put into it, and the commitment I have to making your gown perfect!”
Favorite Foods: Pizza, Mexican, Tacos, and Ice Cream
Favorite Hobbies: I love spending time with my family, my husband, Brandon, and our two dogs, Arvi and Josi!

"I started working with my sister-in-law (Cindy) with fashion shows long before I started working at the shoppe. In 2002 I was laid off. It just so happened that a job opening became available at the store and Cindy offered it to me. The rest was history!"
